Weather

Hi Everyone…Just a share...Each week in our classroom, two students take on the role of our classroom meteorologist/weather reporter. In this role, students locate local weather conditions on the internet, using our classroom computers. Next, they record their findings in their personal weather journal and onto our classroom weather board. Finally, they report this information to the entire class during our Morning Meeting each day. It is a great way to keep student's motivated and learning!

Throughout the year, our class weather reporters report on the weather and read one of their favorite books about the weather. Some of the titles have include Weather Words by Gail Gibbons and Is It Rain or Something Else?.
